Chuck has been a pastor for 22 years and is passionate about his faith and relationship with Jesus. Chuck has a deep love for teaching and preaching God's Word and served as a youth pastor for the first two years of ministry. Family is very important to Chuck. He is devoted to his lovely wife Barbi (who is also an ordained minister), with whom he has three adult children: Leah, who is married to Andrew; Sadie, their middle child; and their youngest, Laban, who is married to Jennifer. They have two grandchildren and currently live in Kent.

Doug has served at First Church since February 1992 in multiple capacities. He began as Pastor of Administration & Christian Education followed by Student Ministry Pastor. As the Executive Pastor he helps us stay on task to ensure things are not overlooked. Doug coordinates our students' ministry team and is a member of the Northeast Ohio Student Board. He is a graduate of Anderson University and Ashland Theological Seminary. He and his beautiful wife, Susan, live in Tallmadge with their cats Cooper and Boomer.

Mindy is excited to help empower and equip children to know God and build His kingdom. She has a degree in General Arts & Science with a focus in Social & Behavioral Science. Her studies concentrated in child development and women's studies. Mindy and her husband Wayne live in Streetsboro. They have two children, Max and Faith.

Kristina has been a member of First Church Tallmadge since 2018. She enjoys serving in many areas such as Children's Ministry, Young Adult/Adult Growth Groups, Discipleship groups and Worship Team ministry. She has a passion to serve God & those around her, and she cannot wait to help our youth to Worship God, Embrace the Word and Love & Fellowship with others.

Kristina lives in Brimfield with her husband, Alan, and four children: Addison, Aiden, Austin & Amelia. When not working her part-time job as a nurse or serving the church, Kristina enjoys anything that involves fellowship with others--especially with family & friends.

Barbi has been involved in ministry for 20+ years and was ordained by the Church of God in 2018. During the majority of this time, Barbi’s focus was student ministries. She was involved not only on the local level, but also in the district, for about 15 years. Recently, God has been leading her to women’s ministry. She sees the need for women to connect not only with God but with each other. She is excited to work with the women at First Church so that every woman will have a place to connect with other women through fellowship, discipleship and serving together while increasing their walk with the Lord.

Jim has nearly 10 years experience as a youth minister in the Church of God and was ordained in September 1999. He has been married to his wife Kelly for 40 years and they have three children (Katie, Elisabeth and Lynnae) and three grandchildren. As the Visitation Pastor, Jim provides pastoral care and regular visitation to members of the congregation who are unable to participate in worship or in the life of the congregation, generally due to health concerns or physical limitations. He also provides care when the Lead/Executive Pastors are unavailable.

Crystal serves as the Communications Director at First Church of God Tallmadge, where she oversees church communications, announcements, social media, digital content, branding, and promotional materials that help connect people to the life and ministries of the church. She also assists with church-wide communication through the website, OneChurch app, event promotions, and annual ministry reporting.

She has served in various ministry roles for over 20 years, including worship, children's, women's, and homeless ministries. Since joining First Church in 2022, Crystal has served on the worship team and founded the church's Prayer Card Ministry in 2023.

Crystal has completed discipleship training through Freedom Prayer and In Christ's Image Training. She has a heart for encouragement, prayer, and discipleship and is passionate about helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Crystal is married and lives in Stow, Ohio. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, as well as crafting, hiking, biking, and baking. She also enjoys creating handmade faith-based products through her small business, Verity & Vine, with the goal of encouraging others and pointing people to Jesus.

Matthew is from New Middletown Ohio; he is currently an intern through the Trellis internship program. Matthew is an online student at Anderson University where he studies for his bachelor's degree in Christian ministries and is an intern here at First Church of God for three years with a long-term goal of entering into ministry. He has a passion and love for students and discipling them in their faith with hopes to continue in youth ministry.
